Bladeless
"The only thing salvaged from the wreckage was a knife that belonged to the late captain. The knife was remarkable, for it had all sorts of tools attached to it and could do just about everything. It could open a bottle of wine, tell you which direction was north, and crack the shells of recalcitrant oysters. Its one drawback was that you couldn't cut anything with it, since it lacked a blade, the inventor having run out of room, but that was a minor inconvenience compared to the fact that you could use it to trim your nose hairs."

The Great Mysteries of Life
Recently I have resumed my studies of Krynn, more specifically in the Fifth Era of said world as you can see in a previous post. (For those who have no idea of what I am talking about and want to know, click here). And while reading from my study book, I found that I must thank the Gnome from the Guild of PuzzlesRiddlesEnigmasRebusLogogriphsMonogramsAnagramsAcrosticsCrosswords-MazesLabyrinthsParadoxesScrabbleFeminineLogicaandPoliticians (Guild of P3 for short) for finally clarifying me which where some of the great mysteries of life, among which the three important ones are:
- Why is it that when you wash two socks you only end up with one?
- Is there life after death?
- Where did the other sock go?

Remember truth
"I wouldn't mind remembering the truth," Tas said. "I have the feeling that the truth doesn't want to remember me."

Test
"Is this some sort of test?"
"Indeed. Everything that doesn't kill you is."
He pushed the door open into darkness.
"Mind you," he added, "surviving doesn't always means you passed."
He could be such a confort.

Nanny Ogg sucked the end of the pencil. Not for the first time in the history of the universe, someone for whom communication normally came as effortlessly as a dream was stuck for inspiration when faced with a few lines on the back of a card.
Well that about wraps it for now, will right wright again soone. MUM. P.S. the Cat is looking very Peeky I think he misses his Home."

A handy skill
A hole appeared in the room, sucking them into the center of it. An instant later, they were all gone.
Now that was one seriously handy skill. "And that, my friends, is the difference between a full-fledged goddess and a demigod," he said under his breath.

Dolls
"I hate them" said Fringe, who had always managed to break her dolls almost as soon as she got them, though she never exactly planned to. "Maybe if I had someone to play with. But Ma and Pa are always gone. And Grandma Nada is always dying."
"Always?" asked Zasper.
"Well, every few days. Grandma Gregoria said she does it to keep in practice."
"Who takes care of you and your brother?"
"Grandma Nada. When she isn't dying."

Is love...?
"-Joscelin, is love supposed to make you feel like you're sick and dying, and mad enough to hit someone, and drunk with joy, and your heart's a boulder in your chest trying to burst into a thousand pieces, all at once?
-Mm-hmm. - He finished his ale. - That would be love."

Michael Crichton
